Updated 26th August, 13:17 PM: As I was knee-deep in Gamescom last week alongside many of Pocket Gamer's superstars I didn't get to update you, lovely readers, that Tricky Test 2: Think Outside is now available in the App Store.
The devs have also given us a promo code to share with you in celebration of its release. Use: PWKGNBQ5, to receive 300 gift coins.

Check out PG's review of the Android version, and our very honest App Army post.

Updated 12th August, 08:13 AM: At long last the marvellous puzzler Don't Trick Me - now named Tricky Test 2: Think Outside - has been released on Android for free.

Pick it up now on Google Play and try not to overthink it.

Updated 3rd August, 09:58 AM: As opposed to the original release date of this Friday 5th, we'll have to wait a little bit longer as Orangenose Studios has pushed the release of Don't Trick Me back by a little bit.

It's a decision we can't be grumpy with, and one I'll always welcome. As they're fine-tuning and re-testing elements of the game, it's better to release once you're confident it's absolutely brilliant rather than having that seed of doubt. That way our experience can't be dampened by a technical issue.

Though they are still aiming to get the game out by next Friday (12th), no specific date has been set as of yet, so we'll keep you updated.

Contrary to the array of misleading puzzlers flying around on the internet (such as the Trollface games), the incoming title from Orangenose Studios Don't Trick Me is a misleading puzzler without the mocking and endless meme references.

These sorts of puzzlers are always fun. As it says in the title, the goal of the game is not to be tricked. The minimalist approach gives it a clean aesthetic with little room to hide the solution, pushing you to think creatively rather than deductively – that means try things you wouldn't have done normally. Sing to or dance with your phone if you must.

With 60+ deceptively tricky puzzles, Don't Trick Me makes you think outside of the box. Instead of taking things as they are, each task has been carefully worded to make you double and triple-guess yourself.
Don't Trick Me is coming to Google Play and the App Store this Friday 5th August so keep an eye out. We'll let you know the moment it drops."I HAVE done so," said Gilbert reluctantly.
